Phlebotomist Opportunity

Start your career as a phlebotomist today! Job-appropriate (non-certification) paid training provided. Advancement opportunities; excellent benefits $1,000 sign-on bonus (after 90-days). Location: Beaumont Donor Center. Hours/Training: Swing shift with varying days and hours scheduled between Monday and Saturday. Regular Sundays off, excluding occasional special events or as otherwise required due to business need. Schedule to be assigned after completion of approximately 10 - 12 weeks of training at our Beaumont location in Lexington which will occur Monday - Friday, but may not be consecutive. Pay: $18.50 to $20.50 per hour, based on education and experience (includes swing shift premium). Phlebotomists who have completed at least 6 months of whole blood training may be required to successfully complete Automation training (additional $2.50 skills premium upon completion) and to maintain skills competency.

Description: Seeking phlebotomist to assist volunteer donors while completing registration, medical screening, and phlebotomy processes. Requires excellent customer service skills, reliability, professionalism, and the ability to easily learn new skills. Must work well with others and demonstrate a desire to effectively interact with the public.

Work Environment: This position regularly involves the following: sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time. Occasionally lift up to or approximately 40 pounds without assistance. Occasionally bend or reach to perform various job tasks. Analyze complex situations and make sound decisions. Adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.

Requirements: high school diploma/equivalent. Related training and education a plus. Basic MS Office skills with the ability to effectively navigate web-based applications and systems. Must possess good communication skills. Proof of education/certifications required during the interview process. Pre-employment background check and drug screen are required.
