This position is located at Morale, Welfare and Recreation - Naf Support Services. The role involves managing and directing the Directorate, Morale Welfare and Recreation (DMWR) Support Division at a large garrison, overseeing activities such as NAF Financial Management, Marketing, NAF Major Construction, Private Organization, Commercial Sponsorship, NAF Property Management, Internal Review/Management Controls, NAF Supply Warehouse and Maintenance, Public Private Ventures, Information Technology, NAF Contracting, Value Added Taxes, and Hunting, Fishing, and Sport Shooting permits. Liaison with and coordination of programs with AAFES and other garrison agencies is also required. The position directs, develops, and administers plans and procedures to ensure functions are carried out in accordance with governing laws, policies, regulations, and professional standards of service. It also includes directing and developing finance and accounting operations, maintaining accounts showing status of installation allotments, assets, and liabilities, and reviewing and evaluating progress of program plans to determine whether overall objectives are being accomplished economically with reference to budget and manpower.

Requirements include work experience directing/managing one or more DMWR Support Management programs for a Garrison, or similar civilian community, for at least one year. Knowledge of programming, planning, budgeting, and long range planning is necessary. The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is Worldwide.
