Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Pay Rate: Up to $45 - $55/hr.

Job Responsibilities

Position Summary: The position of Manufacturing Engineer will be a leader and mentor in both technical skills and core values, such as teamwork, quality, and servant leadership, all while implementing LEAN manufacturing principles on our production floor. This position requires a motivated self-starter with knowledge in multi-axis Swiss style lathes that does not require daily direction to meet production goals.

Major Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple projects and assignments.
• Set up and develop efficient and capable Swiss Style Lathe manufacturing processes products to include tooling selection.
• Implement production quality systems and gauging methods.
• Develop machining and assembly processes including Swiss style CNC.
• Program CNC Swiss machines using G & M-Code, CAM programming.
• Implement working knowledge of GD&T principles to assure ensure that the fundamentals of work holding, machining and gage control will meet the required design intent.
• Coordinate with tooling and equipment sources internally and externally during development and validation of manufacturing processes.
• Drive standardization throughout the factory by use of core competency teams, benchmarking, process standards and equipment checklists.
• Support companies LEAN manufacturing initiatives.

Software/Tools Used:

• Solidworks
• Mastercam
• Might consider talent with other icon based software experience but prefer the Solidworks and Mastercam above all else.
