Journeyman Computer User Support Specialist

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Journeyman Computer User Support Specialist. This position will be fully remote. The responsibilities include providing technical support for computers and associated networks. This includes installing, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing personal computers, network equipment, related PC software, telephones, cables, and connectors. The role also involves maintaining network diagrams and circuit records, instructing users in the use of personal computers and networks, and investigating information, network, and communications needs of users to make recommendations regarding software and hardware purchases. Additionally, the position requires conferring with staff, users, and management to establish requirements for new systems or modifications, installing and performing minor repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, and maintaining records of daily data communication transactions, problems, and remedial actions taken.

Required Skills and Experience include a Bachelor's degree with 5 - 8 years (or commensurate experience). Clearance Required: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Posted Pay Range: The posted pay range reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors. Posted Salary Range: USD $65,000.00 - USD $76,000.00/Yr.
