Job Description:
Food Service Worker-Full-Time
- Prepare and portion food items, including washing, peeling, cutting, and measuring ingredients.
- Cook and fry foods according to recipes and safety standards, ensuring proper temperature and quality.
- Serve patients, staff, and visitors courteously and efficiently while following dietary guidelines.
- Operate cash register and answer Food Service phones to assist customers and staff.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, and floors according to infection control and safety procedures.
- Wash pots, pans, and dishes following hospital sanitation standards.
- Properly store and label food items using safe food handling and rotation practices.
- Safely transports food trays and supplies to and from kitchen and service areas.
- Follow all hospital safety, dress code, and infection control policies.
- Participate in required training, safety drills, and team meetings.
Requirements:
- Food Handler Card or Servsafe Certificate (Preferred)
