Director, Transport & Ems

The Director, Transport & EMS-RN ensures the delivery of competent and efficient patient care through appropriate coordination of clinical services, provides strategic direction in setting clinical goals and promotes teamwork among all team members to ensure that standards for clinical outcomes and regulatory compliance are met on an on-going basis.

Key Accountabilities:

• Directs EMS patient care to ensure patients' needs are met and that policies and procedures are followed. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring compliance with local, state and federal codes/regulations, as well as applicable regulatory agencies.
• Plans, develops, coordinates, monitors and evaluates technical and administrative aspects of emergent and non-emergent transport across the Norton Healthcare system.
• Maintains tools and systems to ensure compliance with capital, personnel and operating budgets.
• Ensures ongoing allocation of staff and maintains productivity that meets departmental and organizational expectations. This includes, but is not limited to, developing corrective action plans when necessary.

Qualifications

Required:

• Three years nursing management in an acute care setting.
• Bachelor Degree Nursing.
• Registered Nurse (KY).

Desired:

• Master Degree
