Cybersecurity Associate Manager
You will be the Cybersecurity Associate Manager for the SOF team. Our team is responsible for providing logistics, maintenance, and sustainment services to the U.S. Special Operations Command. As the Cybersecurity Associate Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of security professionals and coordinating DoD IA support across the entire infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing all Information Assurance (IA) team activities, including Certification and Accreditation of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and DSS accredited computer networks.
- Overseeing Computer System Incident Response, routine audit review and reporting, vulnerability assessment and remediation, and metrics reporting.
- Maintaining a RMF compliant environment and ensuring architecture integrity and consistency across the enterprise.
- Researching and evaluating tools, standards, and technologies, and documenting recommendations to senior leadership and the team.
- Providing direct management and oversight to ensure the effective operation of the IA team.
This position supports our Special Operations Forces – Global Logistics Support Services contract, which is the U.S. Special Operations Command's (USSOCOM) largest service contract vehicle providing a wide range of tailored logistics, maintenance, and sustainment services.

Basic Qualifications:
- Proven expertise and relevant professional work experience in the following:
- Understanding and experience with cyber/information security, including proven ability to direct and oversee all cybersecurity efforts pertaining to:
- Policy and governance approaches and issues
- Education, awareness and training
- Security technologies
- Assessment and validation techniques
- A base-level knowledge of Information Technology, including:
- Governance models and issues
- Architecture/design
- Applications/databases
- Servers/desktops
- Mobile devices and communication
- Infrastructure
- Networks and network communications
- Proven ability to successfully drive and implement change and manage through influence
- Leadership and project management skills confirmed through related work experience
- Strong communication skills – verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret Security clearance
- US Citizen
- 5+ years Information Assurance experience in a DoD environment
- Ability to obtain CISSP / 8570 IAT/IAM Level III certification within 6-months

- Experience with DoD IA policy, and host and network security tools, including HBSS, Exacta, NESSUS, eMASS, VMS, Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Demonstrated track record of working effectively with external customers and forming strong internal client relationships
- Ability to break down complex issues into understandable components and communicate at the appropriate level for the target audience
- Evaluate new security tools and technologies to accomplish / meet the objectives of DoD-mandated programs such as "Zero Trust"
- Advise enterprise business units on digital and technical aspects of cybersecurity governance
