As a Controls Engineer, you will develop, maintain, and enhance automation control systems that are crucial to the production process of manufacturing and assembling automotive seating. You will play a key role in supporting the maintenance department by troubleshooting equipment issues, including PLC ladder logic and data handling functions in Control Logix processors. You will also maintain PLC documentation received from equipment suppliers and an archive of PLC programs and machine controls drawings, both electronically and in paper format throughout the facility.

Work Environment:
This position is on the 2nd shift, from 4 PM to 2:30 AM, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays required for project work and rarely some Sundays. You will be the sole controls engineer on the shift, averaging around 50 hours per week. The work environment is a clean manufacturing facility, with the exception of the foam area.

Pay and Benefits:
