Stationed at the front reception desk for availability to visitors and all administrative staff within the Fairway Street location.
Performs routine tasks necessary to the functions of the Human Resource department, including but not limited to payroll, compensation, recruiting, benefits, leaves of absence, and other related functions within H.R.
Handles employment-related phone calls and emails from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring inquiries to the appropriate Manager or Coordinator.
Routine clerical functions and scanning of H.R. documents (examples: action reports, staff training courses, continuing education, work assessments, and other various items of documentation).
Data entry for licensures/certifications; safety training, and other items related to Human Resources.
May assist in the area of recruitment including interviews and the onboarding process.
May assist with conducting or acquiring background checks and employment eligibility verifications (I-9 information).
Assists with new hire orientation as well as handling the documentation for the exit process upon termination of employees.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
May attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
At least two years work experience within a human resource office environment highly preferred.
High School diploma or GED required; degree or certification in Human Resources helpful, not required.
