Kentro is hiring for an experienced Sr. Application & Packaging Integration Engineer to support our VA-ESOM-End Point Support and Operations Monitoring contract across the United States. The VA is responsible for providing comprehensive onsite and remote support to IT customers across all VA Administrations and special program offices, including direct support of over 340,000 VA employees and thousands of contractors who use government-furnished IT equipment and infrastructure. The VA provides support staff across 100+ CONUS and OCONUS locations, including difficult-to-accommodate locales, such as high cost of living or under-supported economic areas, where VA offices or facilities may be located and require onsite services.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain responsibility for coordinating deployments, support, software upgrades, and integrations of new products into a customer environment.
• Perform hands-on engineering work as well as provide coordination and leadership of engineering resources from other engineering teams.
• Become familiarized with the customer's technical environment and act as a point of contact between the agency and technical resources internal to the program.
• Maintain access to customer sites and learn new solution as they enter the customer environment.
• Apply thought leadership in a highly collaborative and innovative work environment to solve complex technical and non-technical challenges. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

Location: Onsite - 55 Elk Street, 3rd Floor, Albany, NY 12210

Core Hours: Ranges between 7:30am - 5pm EST Monday to Friday

Salary Range: $109,620-121,800. Factors influencing pay within this range include geography, market demand, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This IT Concepts position provides on-site support for the Veterans Health Administration (VHA). The VHA has facility-specific vaccination and testing requirements (outlined below). If chosen for this role, candidates may be required to show proof that the below vaccinations and testing are current. The VHA will provide guidance on specific documents needed and how to request reasonable accommodations.
