People Experience Partner

Join a global manufacturing company as a People Experience Partner, where you'll have the opportunity to shape and lead the HR function across the Netherlands and Belgium region. This is a pivotal role for an experienced HR professional who thrives on building strong operational foundations whilst developing meaningful relationships across all levels of the organisation.

Based primarily at our Tiel facility, you'll support approximately 210 employees across four sites in the Netherlands and Belgium, working in both manufacturing and commercial environments. This role offers significant autonomy and the chance to make a real impact in transforming the regional HR experience.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence & Foundation Building

• Develop and implement robust HR processes and policies, including a comprehensive regional handbook
• Establish clear, consistent processes for performance management, absence management, and employee lifecycle activities
• Partner with global shared service teams to ensure seamless HR service delivery
• Support payroll accuracy and compliance across both countries

Employee Relations & Works Council Management

• Manage relationships with Works Councils across multiple sites, including regular consultation and information sharing
• Handle complex employee relations matters, investigations, and disciplinary processes
• Provide expert guidance on restructuring, redundancy processes, and change management
• Build credibility and trust within the organisation following recent operational changes

Business Partnership & Support

• Partner closely with site leaders and management teams to execute people-related initiatives
• Coach and support managers in people management best practices
• Lead key HR process implementation including performance reviews, compensation planning, and development programmes
• Serve as the primary HR point of contact for country-specific needs and legislative requirements

Strategic Collaboration

• Work collaboratively with global HR teams including Business Partners, Total Rewards, and Talent Acquisition
• Execute regional people strategies aligned with global objectives
• Identify and propose both short-term and long-term HR interventions based on data analysis
• Support organisational change initiatives and culture development
