General Services Laborer

The General Services Laborer will be directed by Welders, Electrical Technicians, Machinists and Shop Foreman to assist with, materials, tools, equipment and supplies for production or internal work. Janitorial duties as well as cleaning work areas and restocking supplies and materials as directed. May assist in lifting, positioning and preparing materials for use as well as cleaning and finishing materials after welding or machining. May perform minor maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment, as well as other duties as directed.

Perform a variety of duties which may often change

Work with standards of quality and accuracy

Repeat tasks according to instruction or procedure

Evaluate information using measurable standards

Other responsibilities/duties as assigned

Must be a US citizen

Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent

Possess a valid Driver's License

Ability to stand or walk for long periods

Ability to lift and carry materials weighing 50 to 100 pounds

Ability to use a variety of hand tools

Experience working in a manufacturing environment

Experience with welding and fabrication

Ability to read engineering drawings

Ability to work independently or in a team environment

Experience with a forklift/aerial lift

Experience with painting or machining

Familiarity with electrical components and hand tools
