KBR supports the operational needs of U.S. armed forces at Morón Air Base in Spain and several bases in Turkey. Our services ensure smooth operations, allowing Air Force and government personnel to focus on their missions. We provide program management, civil engineering, morale, welfare, and recreation support, among other essential services. Awarded by the Air Force Installation Contracting Center, our contract spans a five-year base period with three one-year options, reflecting our commitment to excellence and operational support.

The Baker prepares, mixes, and bakes pastries, and other baked goods. This role involves following proper techniques, following recipes, and maintaining quality and consistency in all products. You will be working in a shift environment that provides the highest level of customer service around the clock.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Bake pastries in accordance with daily food production log using standard recipes. Display pastries in a professional manner
• Assist cook with all food preparation. Prepare and serve grilled food. Check food temperatures.
• Assists in serving and replenishing food on the serving line
• Clean and sanitize all equipment and utensils used in accordance with proper procedures
• Keep the kitchen, serving line, and dining room area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Follow all Safety guidelines
• Complete all training required
• Wear a clean uniform and pertinent personal protective equipment
• Works with minimum supervision
• Works shifts
• Follow the cook's and shift supervisor's instructions

Basic Qualifications

• Food Handler's Certificate
• High School Diploma
• Minimum of one year experience in restaurant or bakery environment
• English level I

Preferred Qualifications

• Read, write, and speak English
• Computer skills
• Experience serving food in a military environment
• Experience working in groups/teams
