C4I Field Service Representatives
KBR Australia Defence & Security Solutions (ADSS) is a trusted partner to Defence, delivering mission-critical systems integration, sustainment, and technical support services.
We are inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from experienced and motivated C4I Field Service Representatives (FSRs) to support upcoming opportunities within our Defence Mission Planning portfolio.
As an FSR, you may be co-located with ADF aviation units, providing first-line support for computer-based Mission Planning Systems (MPS). This role requires specialist knowledge of military aviation operations and mission planning technologies, directly contributing to operational readiness.
This EOI is designed to identify professionals interested in being considered for potential upcoming roles as part of KBR's support to current and future Defence requirements.
About the Role
As a C4I Field Service Representative with KBR ADSS, you may be responsible for:
- Providing frontline operational support services for Army Aviation Mission Planning Systems (MPS).
- Acting as the first point of contact for all issues relating to Army Aviation MPSs.
- Managing and coordinating user support requests and assisting with pre-deployment configuration.
- Maintaining MPS preset data and generating mission planning outputs.
- Delivering targeted training and mentoring to ADF personnel to ensure operational proficiency.
- Providing technical advice on hardware, software, and system enhancements.
- Administering MPS networks, including user account management and data integrity.
- Supporting Army Aviation communications infrastructure, including Radio over IP (RoIP) systems.
- Logging and resolving issues with JMPS, XPLAN, and associated MPA system tools.
- Deploying to ADF exercises (up to two weeks, extendable by agreement).
- Representing KBR professionally while adhering to company policies and Defence security standards.
About You
Essential Skills & Knowledge
- Demonstrated knowledge of Military Operations and Procedures.
- Specialist aviation knowledge relevant to the supported region.
- Advanced skills in Windows OS, Excel, Word, Access, and XML.
- Demonstrated experience with ADF Aviation MPS (JMPS and XPLAN).
- Knowledge of tactical data links (Link 16, VMF, BFT).
Desirable Skills & Knowledge
- In-depth knowledge of JMPS/XPLAN.
- Knowledge of tactical communications.
- Understanding of ADF Command and Support systems.
Clearance Requirements
- Military aviation knowledge/training relevant to operational flying.
- Minimum Defence NV1 Security Clearance (with ability to upgrade).
