Location: Las Vegas, NV (Oversight of 3 facilities in Las Vegas and 3 facilities in California)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Day Shift, No Weekends
Salary Range: $164,860.80 – $238,992.00 per year
About The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Pharmacy Services to lead and advance pharmacy operations across multiple facilities. This executive leadership role will focus on enhancing pharmacy clinical services, optimizing operational efficiency, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving cost containment initiatives. You will play a key role in supporting leadership decisions and developing pharmacy business process models to improve performance and patient care outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide executive leadership in pharmacy clinical services, operations, compliance, and expense management in alignment with organizational strategic goals.
- Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with divisional and facility teams to advance pharmacy practice and patient care.
- Analyze operational and financial data to make strategic recommendations that optimize both quality of care and cost efficiency.
- Oversee the operational effectiveness of pharmacy services across six facilities (3 in Las Vegas, NV, and 3 in California).
- Develop, implement, and coordinate pharmacy programs and initiatives within the system and facilities.
- Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a high-performing, patient-focused pharmacy culture.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to increase customer satisfaction and ensure alignment of services.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy, MBA, or MS preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive pharmacy management experience in multi-site acute care settings (retail pharmacy experience not considered).
- Licensed pharmacist (must obtain licensure in the practicing state within 6 months, or sooner if required).
- Executive-level leadership experience with the ability to influence and build strategic relationships with senior leadership teams.
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills with the ability to implement change effectively.
Additional Details:
- Travel: 25–35% required.
- Oversight includes six facilities with 6 Directors of Pharmacy and 4 division team members.
