Vice President Of Strategic Development & Clinical Support

Under the administrative supervision of the President/CEO, the Vice President of Strategic Development & Clinical Support is responsible for advancing the agency's strategic priorities through legislative engagement, funding innovation, and system-level coordination. The Vice President of Strategic Development & Clinical Support shall operate in accordance with the policies set forth by the Board of Directors and shall abide by all applicable laws and regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct the full range of activities required to prepare, submit, and manage grant and other funding proposals to foundations, corporate sources and governmental agencies.
  • Performs prospect research on grant opportunities and evaluates prospects for appropriate fit to Mirror projects and mission.
  • Represent Mirror's treatment services in statewide initiatives, professional associations, and collaborative planning bodies.
  • Identify funding opportunities and lead or support grant writing, proposals, and contract negotiation for treatment services.
  • Identify new opportunities, analyze industry trends, and develop strategies that drive growth and success.
  • Update and create policies regarding treatment services. Ensure the implementation and training of policies to all treatment locations.
  • Assist with program accreditation, licensure, or collaboration with new agencies.
  • Assist program directors with annual audit preparations and regulatory audits.
  • Provide clinical training and EHR to new clinical staff and lead monthly refresher trainings on EHR.
  • Assist with regulatory compliance in all treatment programs.
  • Collect data on treatment outcomes and company impact for CEO and/or CFOO presentations.
  • Provide clinical support to treatment programs as needed.
  • Develop and implement crisis management plans by assessing risks, creating strategies to mitigate potential crises, and establishing protocols for effective response and recovery.
  • Oversee critical incident response efforts by leading the response team during a critical incident, making critical decisions, and coordinating efforts across departments.
  • Deliver reports and presentations to the Board of Directors, CEO, or external stakeholders regarding treatment services as requested.
  • Other duties as assigned by President/CEO or other executive team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in an industry-related field.
  • Actively licensed by the BSRB.
  • Strong business background preferred.
  • Knowledge of the behavioral industry or related field is preferred.
  • Ability to understand, interpret and analyze program evaluation data and design.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills required as well as ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Must be adaptable to change and have effective organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead teams and effectively supervise the work of other independent leaders in a positive, enabling way.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze/interpret/calculate/forecast data, evaluate plans, comprehend, explain complex information and work with multiple tasks.
  • Must be able to work in collaboration with the Director of Clinical Services, Director of Treatment Operations, and other agency senior executives.
  • Must be able to pass required security screening.
  • Employees who have been diagnosed with any type of substance use disorder or behavioral addiction/compulsion must have sustained a minimum of two consecutive years of abstinence from all intoxicating substances and symptoms of their chemical and/or behavioral addiction; and must be in full sustained remission.
  • Must be proficient in basic computer skills.
  • Physical requirements would include but not limited to standing, walking, talking, hearing and lifting (40/50 pounds). Walking stairs may be required as well.
