Safety Leadership: Promote and uphold a positive safety culture, ensuring personal and team compliance with all safety protocols, including those involving vendors and contractors.
Team Leadership & Evaluation: Develop and lead the Thermoforming Engineering team, providing mentorship, continuous feedback, and annual performance reviews to drive growth and accountability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with manufacturing managers and leadership to align priorities and drive cross-departmental initiatives.
Process Optimization: Evaluate manufacturing processes for cost-effectiveness and feasibility; implement improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and cost savings.
Project Oversight: Guide and manage plant renovations, expansions, and capital projects, including coordination with external contractors and vendors.
Operational Support: Provide engineering expertise to support production, printing, maintenance, tooling, and other operational teams.
Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on cost savings and efficiency gains from implemented projects.
Budget Management: Prepare and manage the capital budget, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Material Testing: Support testing and evaluation of new or advanced resins for processability.
Customer Issue Resolution: Address customer complaints and lead corrective and preventive action initiatives.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all company safety, environmental, and health regulations.
