What You'll Do

  • Lead quality initiatives that directly impact aircraft performance, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with different departments, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Analyze performance metrics such as scrap, defects, and rework to identify trends and drive cross-functional improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct audits across internal teams and external suppliers to ensure product and process integrity.
  • Address quality concerns based on customer impact, coordinating across disciplines to implement effective solutions.
  • Partner with engineering, supply chain, and customer service teams to enhance quality and operational efficiency.

What You Need To Be Successful:

  • Engineering or STEM degree plus 2 years of quality/manufacturing experience (OR) 7 years of aviation quality experience with a technical degree, associate's degree, or A&P license.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with AS9100, ISO9001, NADCAP, and special processing.
  • Familiarity with tools like PFMEA, Six Sigma, Lean, and statistical techniques.
  • ASQ certifications and project management experience are a plus.
  • Propulsion experience is preferred.
