Civil/Geotechnical Staff Engineer

Braun Intertec is seeking a Civil/Geotechnical Staff Engineer to join our Lenexa, KS office. Responsibilities include performing various field and laboratory tests, working independently and as a team member on projects, preparing proposals, managing projects, maintaining client communications, developing solutions, observing construction, and gaining experience toward obtaining a Professional Engineer license.

Required Skills:

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Perform field related services at least 50% of time
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and up to 75 lbs. periodically
• Travel up to 25% of time

Required Experience:

• Prior professional consulting experience desired, up to four years
• Geotechnical experience preferred
• Proficiency in field-testing & report writing experience
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with geotechnical, materials emphasis, or related
• Possess EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
