Provides leadership and management for the mortgage banking team that consistently delivers the Landmark National Bank commitment: To be champions and catalysts for our communities. The Mortgage Sales Manager is responsible for the mortgage banking sales production, provides leadership input into the residential home sales efforts and cultivates a sales and service culture. Holds team accountable for service and performance standards, and provides necessary supervision, training, coaching and development to support team success. Works closely with team, other bank divisions, and bank leadership to develop, monitor, and achieve goals.
- Responsible for the mortgage production goals of the bank.
- Sets quarterly objectives aligned with bank strategies and communicates progress to management.
- Supervises, trains, coaches, and develops your team of associates and managers, including utilizing performance development processes and reviews.
- Responsible for performance counseling, including making and recommending disciplinary action decisions.
- Utilizes prescribed hiring process to select team members.
- Engages in and initiates Landmark National Bank Culture initiatives and team success activities, including Huddles and Celebration events.
- Reviews current processes and procedures and looks to gain further operational efficiencies through workflow updates, process improvements, etc.
- Assists in vendor selection and implementation of new products and services.
- Provides timely responses to internal and external audit requests and for timely resolution of applicable audit findings.
- Performs other projects as assigned.
- Comply with all banking regulations, policies, and procedures.
