Design, create, and implement tools and techniques to reduce labor costs, improve turn time and quality for operations process steps.
Review current process techniques on long standing products and identify and implement improvements to aids, tooling, and templates to make process more repeatable and consistent.
Review customer specifications for new products for detailed requirements to set up new processes or establish gaps between current practices and specification requirements.
Coordinate process optimization in regard to tooling, operational sequencing, throughput, and cost analysis on new/existing packages, and drive cost reduction on materials, labor, and paint.
Perform project management to meet required goals and deadlines.
Oversee first article qualification to ensure time optimization, pricing evaluation, and proper engineering.
Coordinate with the planning team for the creation of accurate and detailed work orders for all new and existing orders along with the creation of new technique cards.
Coordinate and collaborate with other project team members to ensure continuous success in meeting required deadlines and product goals.
Create and revise internal processing procedures and quality work instructions for performing quality control tests.
Perform document control of customers engineering.
