Perform continuous health checks and real-time monitoring of Telco Core network functions and containerized applications. Use observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch, or OneConsole) to track system health, resource usage, and service metrics. Acknowledge, validate, and log alerts triggered by monitoring systems. Understand platform and application-level telemetry data to identify symptoms of degraded service.
Perform first-level diagnosis to isolate faults (log analysis, symptom matching, known errors). Document issues in the ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow) with clear categorization and impact statements. Escalate incidents to Tier 2 support based on defined runbooks and escalation matrix.
Execute predefined operational SOPs and L1 playbooks for alert remediation (e.g., pod restarts, basic config verifications). Track and report progress on ticket resolutions during shifts.
Coordinate with Tier 2/Tier 3 teams for unresolved/complex incidents. Participate in shift handover activities ensuring knowledge transfer. Maintain shift logs, incident timelines, and daily activity reports.

Preferred Certifications (Not Mandatory) - Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration - CCNA / CompTIA Network+ - Any certification related to Kubernetes/Cloud Monitoring
