HVAC Foreman

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Foreman to lead and oversee the installation of HVAC ductwork and equipment. The role involves setting units, connecting systems, and ensuring precise installation through layout and field measurements. You will supervise a team, coordinate with crane operators, manage inventory, and report progress to the Project Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Install all facets of HVAC ductwork and equipment, ensuring accurate setup and connections.
• Lead and supervise a crew of 2–3 team members, assigning tasks and maintaining workflow.
• Perform layout and field measurements for precise installations.
• Unload and organize materials and equipment on-site.
• Coordinate with crane operators for equipment placement and material lifts.
• Maintain proper inventory levels of materials and supplies.
• Report daily progress and updates to the Project Manager.
• Read and work independently from blueprints and technical drawings.

Essential Skills:

• 5 years of lead experience in HVAC installation.
• Proficiency in field measuring and relaying information to the shop.
• Clean driving record with strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to complete redlines and fill out time cards accurately.
• Proven experience leading HVAC installation teams on commercial job sites.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong skills in ductwork installation, equipment setup, layout, field measuring, unloading, and crane coordination.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Must bring your own basic tools of the trade.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.

The work involves setting units outside on rooftops, followed by interior tasks. Comfort with both outdoor elements and indoor work conditions is essential.

Job Type & Location:

This is a permanent position based out of Hays, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $68,640.00 - $81,120.00/yr. Benefits included are 100% paid health and dental insurance, accidental death, life, and supplemental insurance, 401K, Paid Holidays, vacation, boot allowance, with company provided electronic devices, work truck, and uniforms.
