Human Services Specialist
This position is with the Department for Children and Families, Economic and Employment Services Division. The work is performed in the City County area. The position is full-time, regular personnel.
The supervisor for this position is Rhonda Fowler, Human Services Supervisor, K0053782. The work is performed using independent judgment within agency policies and procedures. Manuals, training, and conferences are provided to assist the employee in the assigned tasks. The supervisor assigns cases and tasks with general directions, and instructions are provided in manuals and policy memos or through verbal and written instructions.
The job duties include:
- Performing tasks using independent judgment within agency policies and procedures
- Accessing protected health information under the HIPAA Privacy Rule
The position has access to protected health information (PHI) under the provisions of the Health Information Portability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) Privacy Rule. PHI must be treated in accordance with the provisions of the HIPAA Privacy Regulation.
