Hr Recruiter Contract Position

We are looking for an experienced HR Recruiter to join our team on a contract basis in Lenexa, Kansas. In this role, you will play a vital part in sourcing, screening, and onboarding candidates for technical and facilities positions, while ensuring a seamless hiring experience. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with leadership to identify and understand staffing requirements across union and non-union sites.
• Source candidates with relevant experience using diverse methods, including job boards, trade schools, referrals, and community outreach.
• Evaluate resumes and conduct applicant screenings to determine technical proficiency and cultural alignment.
• Communicate with candidates professionally and promptly to maintain a positive recruitment experience.
• Ensure accurate documentation of applicant information within company recruiting systems.
• Coordinate onboarding activities such as background checks, job descriptions, and scheduling start dates.
• Provide regular updates on recruitment progress to leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment with goals.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR (preferred but not mandatory for contract positions).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple job openings simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with candidates and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems or recruiting software is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
