Hotel Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Hotel Maintenance Engineer to ensure the smooth operation and safety of our hotel facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, HVAC, hydraulics, and mechanical systems. This role involves performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring all equipment and infrastructure meet safety and operational standards. Candidates with experience in manufacturing facilities, industrial electrician work, or military maintenance backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply. Fluency in English and excellent customer service skills are essential for effective communication with staff and guests. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical systems, hydraulics, and mechanical equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair various machinery using schematics, precision measuring instruments, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
  • Operate and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, and other industrial control systems.
  • Perform welding tasks, including welding, as needed for repairs or modifications.
  • Use scissor lifts and other industrial equipment safely to access high or hard-to-reach areas.
  • Maintain detailed maintenance records using CMMS systems to track work orders and equipment history.
  • Assist with installation of new equipment or upgrades following technical specifications and schematics.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards related to high voltage, low voltage, electrical work, and industrial mechanic practices.
  • Respond promptly to emergency repairs to minimize downtime and ensure guest safety.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop maintenance schedules that optimize operational efficiency.

Skills:

  • Proven experience in industrial maintenance within manufacturing facilities or similar environments.
  • Strong electrical knowledge including high voltage and low voltage systems; experience as an industrial electrician is preferred.
  • Proficiency with schematics, technical drawings, and analysis skills for troubleshooting complex systems.
  • Hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, welding (including welding), and mechanical repairs.
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, and field service operations.
  • Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters accurately.
  • Experience working with industrial machinery in a manufacturing or military setting is advantageous.
  • Excellent customer service skills combined with effective communication in English.
  • Strong analysis skills for diagnosing issues quickly and implementing effective solutions.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
