Apply knowledge of structural analysis (e.g., materials technology, finite element modeling, static analysis, fatigue analysis, damage tolerance analysis, thermal analysis, vibration analysis, structural testing, etc.) to determine structural adequacy for customer requirements and regulatory compliance; and to collaborate on structural design, manufacturing, and post-delivery of products.
Bachelors of Science Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Structural Engineering or other related course of study obtained from an ABET accredited Engineering program. Experience in a stress or structural analysis engineering classification/position. Levels of experience: Level 1: 0-2 years, Level 2: 2-5 years, Level 3: 5-10 years, Level 4: greater than 10 years. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Must be able to work on-site in Wichita, KS. Must be able to obtain clearance.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in manufacturing or aerospace.
