Job Opportunity At Fairbanks Scales Inc.

Grows the business by ensuring customer satisfaction and customer retention by developing relationships through customer engagement.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Answer inbound and place outbound calls in a call center with the goal of increasing business, customer satisfaction, and customer retention.
  • Address complex customer inquiries and problems, having experience and advanced knowledge.
  • Explain complex matters to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Respond to customer questions, explain available services, correct errors, provide information on pricing.
  • Take orders, develop leads, and troubleshoot.
  • Address customer inquiries and escalate complex issues to a higher level leader or supervisor as necessary.
  • Respond to customer inquiries by telephone or email to provide non-technical problem resolution.
  • Resolve complex or unusual requests and problems that may require a customized response and communicate solution or requested information to the customer.
  • Analyze a customer's needs and make referrals for follow up or additional information as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have three to five years of experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products - specifically Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with transport billing software is a plus.
  • Critical thinker with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work as well as concentrate on multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to develop and maintain business relationships.
  • Ability to work independently.

Work Environment:

  • General office conditions. Exposed to moderate noise levels.

Physical Abilities:

  • Required to use close vision and be able to focus.
  • Regularly required to talk and hear; frequently required to sit, stand and bend at the knee and waist, and walk.
  • Must be able to have repetitive wrist, hand and/or finger movement to type and work on computer.
  • Must have finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination to work on computer, telephone, and related office equipment.
  • Regular attendance is a necessary and essential function.
