The Role at a Glance: In this role you will provide support to clinical operations by requesting/retrieving medical records from health care providers and processing physician file preparation/assembly, records scan requests, and medical invoices for payment. You will follow-up with health care providers as needed to inquire on the status of records requests to ensure timely handling.

What you'll be doing:

  • Perform routine work in accordance with established procedures and guidelines by acquiring core knowledge required for the role.
  • Document all referrals, invoices, and status calls accurately in administration system as measured through observations/audits.
  • Manage assigned caseload effectively to meet or exceed departmental productivity, quality, and time service standards.
  • Meet or exceed all telephone service commitments and replies to all customer service inquiries/voicemails in accordance with department time service standards.
  • Complete all rush record requests same day in accordance with department time service standards.
  • Resolve customer or client escalations with support from management as needed.
  • Support and promote change management and departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Carry out duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines.
  • Comply with all company and site policies and procedures.
  • Make a positive contribution as demonstrated by offering suggestions for improvement and learning new skills, procedures, and processes.
  • Remain current in profession and industry trends.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and work overtime as needed.

What we're looking for Must haves: High School diploma or GED Perform repetitive tasks while maintaining speed of work, accuracy, and attention to detail without loss to productivity. Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail. Nice-to-haves: Associates Degree or higher Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Level: N1-1 The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $22.45 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln's total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln's standard benefits package.
