Self-starter with excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills. Must be able to effectively direct, coordinate, and exercise functional authority for planning, control, and timely completion of assigned engineering projects within the area of responsibility by performing duties personally or through subordinate supervision. Project emphasis placed on safety, budgeting, work quality and quantity, and teamwork. Work effectively with all departments to establish operational efficiency of production equipment, which relates to the elimination of recurring equipment issues, continuous improvement, equipment modular quick change, and setup reduction. Supports continuous improvements through lean initiatives, automation, modification of existing equipment and processes, along with new equipment development.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily.

Equipment Used: Must possess required computer skills to properly and effectively perform the job. Computer skills that will be required relate to Microsoft Office programs, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Minitab. Other computer skills are required to properly and successfully complete assigned tasks.
Travel: Occasional domestic travel may be necessary to fulfill business needs and support various projects and initiatives.
