Layout Engineer For 3D Plant Planning In Waste-to-X / Thermal Waste Valorization

As part of the Business Unit Systems and Service Solutions, it supports customer projects throughout the entire lifecycle, especially for batch sizes and complex conversion projects.

Job Description

Our department Tendering is responsible for the creation of offers for the turnkey delivery of complex stoker furnace and boiler plants as well as for a wide range of modernization measures for existing thermal waste valorization plants. To strengthen our team, we are looking for committed Plant Planners (m/w/d) with a passion for planning and technology. Professionally, the position is integrated into the Layout Planning department.

As part of an interdisciplinary project team, you will take over, among other things:

• Construction and development of plant planning based on process flow diagrams and R&I diagrams
• Contribution to the constructive implementation in accordance with customer requirements and process-technical specifications
• Creation of 3D individual models as well as integration into the 3D overall planning
• Preparation of the technical documentation in the form of arrangement plans, floor plans, longitudinal and cross-sections for customers and partners
• Coordination of the detail planning in close coordination with internal specialist departments and external suppliers
• Proactive participation in concept meetings with customers and project partners regarding the presentation of the developed layout concept

Qualifications

• Completed technician or engineer training with a focus on construction / technical product designer with a focus on plant construction
• Practical experience in the planning of process engineering plants, respectively complex production plants - ideally in plant construction or in the field of energy process technology
• Sound 3D-CAD knowledge, preferably with E3D
• Secure handling of MS-Office applications
• Good German and English skills in writing and speaking
• Technical understanding, experience, interest in new construction and conversion projects in industrial plant construction
• Independent, structured way of working and high problem-solving competence
