The Guest Service Representative is responsible for providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests prior to arrival and throughout their stay. They will accommodate campground guests by registering, issuing keys, keeping proper record of occupied sites, making and confirming reservations and collecting payments. The GSR will help maintain a clean, well-stocked and organized store.
Specific duties include greeting and welcoming all guests, resolving guest concerns, preparing reports, answering inquiries, operating campground property management system, ensuring logging and delivery of messages, packages and mail, establishing good communications, overseeing check-ins/outs, adhering to cash handling procedures, notifying management, and maintaining high standards of professionalism.
Expected results include demonstrating a positive attitude, maintaining arrivals, departures and campground census reports, attention to detail, promotion of ancillary revenue streams, and meeting quality assurance standards.
Job qualifications include fluency in English, strong decision-making ability, excellent communication and collaboration skills, strong working knowledge of operational procedures, comfort in a fast-paced environment, and ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical requirements include standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and working in various climates.
