As a Lead Business Intelligence Administrator, you will use Epic Application build and analytics experience to build tools that will provide data insight to our business partners. You will leverage your understanding of healthcare related workflows to interact with physicians and clinical partners to provide them with analytical solutions that help advance patient care. Directly interact with Clinical/Market leaders and SMEs to understand their data needs and lead and mentor analysts within the team to meet those needs. Possess strong analytical, technical and troubleshooting skills and work both independently and within a team of analysts. Make informed decisions based on data, train and mentor team members. Use expertise in SQL and various Epic Cogito functionalities (Clarity, Caboodle, Radar, Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer, Epic Metrics framework, Epic Registries) to provide accurate and timely data to our end users.
In addition to the responsibilities listed below, this position is responsible for supervising technical software aspects for development and production activities for one functional area or application. This includes providing technical expertise on Database/Data Warehousing software program/ application/system; acting as first point of escalation for Database/Data Warehousing technical decisions and problems, and leading other software engineers for efficient program/ application solutions which support business processes and functional requirements; and overseeing all Database/Data Warehousing coding and work quality reviews. Some of the unique challenges this position will face include acting as a SME on Database/Data Warehousing across healthcare / plan applications.
