About the project, we need power for:

In cooperation with one of our clients, who is a financial technology company, we develop leading software solutions for asset tokenization. The clients benefit from all building blocks, services, and licenses needed to issue tokenized securities and manage decentralized security registries. The presence of a high number of intermediaries like banks and custodians leads to high transaction costs on the capital market. We use Distributed Ledger Technology to provide a global capital market 2.0 that works for everyone without intermediaries. We're on this mission to create a more open access to capital and therefore more thriving ideas coming to life. Some more interesting project facts

Tasks

As an AWS Cloud Engineer, you will offer secure, robust and scalable AWS resources that meet customer needs and comply with European DORA regulations. Security is a main concern, and therefore you will be able to boost your skills to wire in security practices into all the different aspects of infrastructure and networking.

Furthermore, you will support developers in delivering IT products to customers by reviewing concepts for infrastructure/operational needs, consulting on related questions, and sharing knowledge within the engineering team.

Besides this, your activities will include:

Implementation of security measures into existing infrastructure architecture to meet our own standards and DORA requirements

Development of state-of-the-art solutions to run a secure and reliable AWS Cloud

Infrastructure for internal and external services with Infrastructure as Code

Provisioning of CI/CD-Pipelines to meet the developers' requirements

Design and implementation of suitable and sufficient monitoring and alerting solutions to

Support the development and support team

Requirements

You shall bring:

Profound understanding of networking, e.g. by practical usage of e.g. AWS VPCs, VPC peering, TransitGateways

Practical experience in managing common AWS Services such as AWS RDS, S3, KMS, SSM, Route53

Proven experience with IaC especially terraform

Experience with managing kubernetes clusters and tooling, such as Helm Charts

Ability to relate infrastructure decisions to the budget

Security Mindset

Ability to explain complex matters to a non-tech audience by using your clear communication skills

Pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset aiming for win-win situations

Nice to have:

Knowledge of Monitoring&Alerting stacks, e.g. ELK or Grafana, Prometheus, Loki etc

General knowledge of OWASP Top 10 CI/CD

GitOps practices with e.g. argoCD

Experience in managing SQL Databases

Python skills

Django Framework
