Operations Coordinator

sKids Support Office provides operational, quality, and planning support to our nationwide network of programmes. We're a collaborative, values-driven team focused on continuous improvement and enabling safe, fun, and enriching experiences for children.
Job Description
We are seeking an organised and proactive Operations Coordinator to support our Operations team, reporting to our Programme Planning Manager. This part-time fixed-term role (with the opportunity to transition into a permanent full-time position) based at our sKids Support Office in Glenfield.
In this role, you will:
- Provide administrative support to the Operations team, General Manager Operations, Regional Operations Managers, and the Programme Planning Manager.
- Assist with programme readiness for both term and holiday periods through managing communications, organising resources, and coordinating courier services.
- Assist with project planning, event coordination, communications, and distribution of materials to the sKids network.
- Maintain accurate documentation to facilitate effective resource tracking and uphold efficient stock levels.
- Coordinate internal audits, and assist in maintaining compliance records in collaboration with our Quality Support Specialist.
- Support programme readiness for term and holiday periods, including preparing resources and communications.
- Assist with project planning, event coordination, communications, and distribution of materials to the sKids network.
- Support Health & Safety record documentation preparation for programmes
- Build strong internal and external relationships while representing sKids with professionalism and care.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Proficiency across Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Effective time management and the ability to prioritise workloads.
Desirable:
- Understanding of food safety, health & safety, or OSCAR sector requirements.
- Experience with project administration.
- Familiarity with designing or maintaining quality frameworks.

Additional Information
You must be eligible to work in New Zealand. Food handling/safety qualifications are desirable. Commitment to ongoing development is expected (e.g., Train the Trainer). This role is based onsite at our Glenfield Support Office.
