An opportunity has arisen for an Order Taker to join us at Jumeirah Carlton Tower within our In-Room Dining Team.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
Maximize sales and profits through exceptional value and service, utilizing effective up-selling and cross-selling techniques throughout the hotel.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of all in-room dining menu items and actively review relevant information such as hotel events and daily specials.
Demonstrate an understanding of hotel facilities and become proficient in hotel management systems such as Opera, Epicure, and Hotsos.
Adhere to punctuality and uniform standards while fostering positive relationships with colleagues and other departments.
Ensure compliance with hotel policies related to Fire, Health, Hygiene, and Safety, and possess a pleasant demeanor with proficiency in English and preferably additional languages.
