Guest Relations Executive

An opportunity has arisen for a Guest Relations Executive to join our Food and Beverage Team in Jumeirah Saadiyat Island. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

1. Providing excellent customer service to all guests, including greeting them warmly and engaging in small conversations to make them feel comfortable and welcome
2. Scheduling dining reservations and arranging parties or special services/special occasions such as anniversaries, birthdays, proposals etc. for guests according to the Restaurant Reservations SOP
3. Actively using the standards detailed in F&B Enquiry/Booking checklist when taking Restaurant enquiries or bookings
4. Greeting guests, and escorting them to tables. Sharing their names to relevant service staff immediately after seating. Matching the pace of the table and presenting the menus after each guest is comfortably seated
5. Familiarizing with the menu and signature dishes to answer guests' queries associated with it. Waiting for the right moment to describe the Chef specials/festive specialties. Recommending food choices with drinks in accordance with guest's passion for food and beverage
6. Acting as an escort for VIP and regular guests/residents and providing them with personal attention thus providing an elevated level of service

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• 1-2 years' experience in guest service-related work in a 5-star hotel in Fine Dining Destination Dining
• Microsoft Office (Basic Knowledge)
• Micros, Epicure Restaurant Reservation system
• Strong customer service orientation
• Team player with accuracy and attention to detail
