Job Summary

As a Technology Support III at JP Morgan Chase within the Corporate Technology and Risk Technology, you ensure the stability, availability, and performance of production application flows. You foster a culture of continuous improvement while supporting seamless user experiences across our systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Delivers end-to-end application or infrastructure service to enable successful business operations.
• Supports daily maintenance of systems to ensure operational stability and availability.
• Monitors production environments for anomalies and addresses issues using observability tools.
• Identifies issues for escalation and communicates solutions to business and technology stakeholders.
• Analyzes complex situations to anticipate and resolve incident, problem, and change management for full stack systems.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
• Experience troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services.
• Demonstrated knowledge of applications or infrastructure in large-scale technology environments, both on premises and public cloud.
• Hands-on experience managing applications on AWS Cloud.
• Experience in at least one scripting language such as Java, Python, Ansible, or Shell.
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools, including Splunk, Dynatrace, or Grafana.
• Automation and toil reduction experience.
• Exposure to processes within the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Experience with general purpose programming languages or automation scripting.
• Working understanding of public cloud, preferably AWS; AWS certification is a plus.
• Exposure to Databricks.
• Familiarity with reliability engineering concepts such as SLI, SLO, and SLA.
