Job Summary

As an Application Support Analyst at JP Morgan Chase within Corporate Data and Analytics Service team, you help ensure the stability and reliability of essential systems that drive the firm's daily operations. You work collaboratively with us to resolve issues, improve processes, and contribute to a culture of growth and innovation.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintains and supports application systems critical to business operations
• Collaborates with teams to resolve application and data issues as they arise
• Applies creative and critical thinking to troubleshoot and improve system performance
• Gains exposure to software development, testing, deployment, and production lifecycle methodologies
• Develops meaningful relationships to achieve common goals and contribute to team culture
• Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement and risk mitigation

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• BS/BA degree or formal training/certification in software engineering concepts and one year applied experience
• Basic knowledge of application development and operational stability
• Hands-on experience in at least one general purpose programming language
• Working knowledge of development toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships
• Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Solid understanding of production lifecycle methodologies and risk guidelines

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
• Exposure to cloud technologies
• Interest in learning new coding languages and skills as needed
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment
