Joining the Journey Beyond family, you will play an integral role in supporting our business as we continue to share special places and shape lasting memories for our guests.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join the Journey Beyond Rail Operations team based at the Adelaide Parklands Terminal as casual Rail Operations Coordinator/Signal Controller. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation of the Keswick Terminal's rail signal system and coordinating the safe, efficient shunting and movement of trains within the Adelaide Parklands Terminal operations.
The Rail Operations requirements at the Adelaide Parklands Terminal vary on a daily basis, and the successful applicant can expect their responsible duties to also be varied and include, but not be limited to:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful applicant will require awareness and knowledge of Australian Standard Railway Safety Management and Rail National Code of Practice. This casual position will be engaged in duties of both a Signal Controller and Rail Operations Coordinator, covering varied shift times over a 7-day week and as such will need to be flexible with their working availability.
