Technical Service And Sales Support Coordinator

Are you looking for your next role? We have an exciting opportunity in our Technical Services team. The main purpose of the Technical Service and Sales Support Coordinator role is to support and assist the Technical Service Team, coordinating UK inspections for the Shipping and Protective Coatings Teams. Communication and organizational skills are key, with most members of the team working out of the office, you will be their main contact for support. The role is based in our Newcastle Office on St. Peters Wharf.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordination of the inspections for all UK & Ireland Coating Advisors – Shipping and Protective Coatings, including visa and travel arrangements.
  • Liaise with overseas Technical Departments to arrange Coating Advisors for inspections.
  • Process recharges for inspections that are carried outside of UK & Ireland.
  • Issue Antifouling Certificates.
  • Track and manage the training log and certifications for the Technical Service Team.
  • Track and log hours worked for the Coating Advisors including overtime. Collating this information to track hours against the Working Time Directive.
  • Holiday approval and logging for all Coating Advisors.
