Key Account Manager
JoomPro is the first end-to-end cross-border B2B marketplace. We aspire to create a new level of service in the wholesale purchasing market. We give everyone, anywhere in the world, the opportunity to order goods from factories in China easily and efficiently. After a successful launch in Brazil, we are now expanding to Mexico to bring seamless wholesale trade to new markets.
JoomPro is one of the key businesses of Joom, an international tech-centric group of e-commerce companies founded in 2016 in Latvia. Joom Group also includes other businesses: Joom, a platform for global shopping; JoomPulse, a data platform that provides analytics and recommendations for marketplace sellers; and Onfy, a pharmaceutical marketplace in Germany. Joom Group has offices in Latvia, China, Portugal, Germany, and Brazil, with its headquarters in Lisbon, Portugal. We work as one international team, sharing knowledge and collaborating across countries, businesses, and products.
Now we are looking for a Key Account Manager who will establish long-term relations with existing and new merchants in order to achieve long-term growth.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal merchants, making sure they understand and follow JoomPro's requirements
- Guide and drive merchants to upload products with desired product types, good information quality, and competitive price, in order to boost order conversion and GMV
- Partner with Category Manager to share category insight with merchants and merchants' input to reverse-source product selection
- Collaborate with overseas marketing team to initiate a marketing campaign in order to drive product GMV
- Build merchant CRM and analyze merchant performance, understand each merchant's specialized category/product type, and manage merchants by various tiers
- Collect supplier feedback (VOC) on system pain points and process improvements, driving backend upgrades or participating in workflow design projects
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in traditional B2B trading
- 3+ years of experience in cross-border e-commerce sectors
- Negotiation & Communication: Proven ability to influence merchants and drive outcomes
- Problem-Solving & Execution: Resolve supplier issues swiftly and mobilize resources
- Project Management & Result-Driven: Decompose high-level goals into daily deliverables and drive business results
- Resilience and Adaptability: Thrive in fast-evolving and dynamic environments with high adaptability
- Fluent written and spoken English
Preferred
- Understanding of data analysis logic and key metrics of merchant performance, proficiency in Excel/BI tools to extract insights and formulate actions
- Experience in cross-border trading in Latin America
