Position Title: Kid's College Intern, Corporate & Community Services

STATUS: Part time

DEPARTMENT: Corporate & Community Services

DIVISION: Academic Affairs

REPORTS TO: Community Education Coordinator, Corporate & Community Services

CLASSIFICATION: Non-exempt

MINIMUM PAY RATE: $17 (Position is FWS Eligible)

Essential Job Duties And Key Responsibilities

• Assist with Lifelong Learning summer programming, specifically Kids College Camps.
• Take primary responsibility for the health, well-being and happiness of participants.
• Assist with promotion and coordination of programs and events.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current High School or College Student
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with other members of the college and community, displaying cultural competence as well as emotional intelligence.
• Must be available to work at all JJC campus locations and provide own transportation. (Mileage to satellite campuses will be reimbursed.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Education student, and/or interested in a career in teaching
• English and Spanish verbal and written communication proficiency.
• Demonstrated multicultural competence.

Working Conditions: Normal Office conditions and indoor/outdoor athletic court/field conditions

Full Time/Part Time: Part time
