Senior Engineer, Customer Quality

The Senior Engineer, Customer Quality, is responsible for ensuring that our products meet or exceed customer expectations. This role involves analyzing customer feedback, implementing quality control processes, and collaborating with various teams to address and resolve quality issues.

Your responsibilities will be to:

• Provide leadership in maintaining and improving the QMS in the shop floor.
• Lead the analysis (5Why, FTA or cause and effect) and preparing the 8D activity for 0KM / Warranty issues and submitting report to on time to customer.
• Prioritize actions for quality projects using methodologies like Voice of Customer (VOC), Failure Mode Analysis (FMEA), etc.
• Quick response and follow up all customer requirements related to Engineering Changes & Serial life Production and monthly MIS data.
• Establish the solution for the non-confirming materials in the production / Dock audit.
• Lead the Customer audit and all Customer Quality Requirements Implementation in plant and action closure.
• Deploy and ensure compliance with company rules and procedures in line with the main Quality standards (IATF).
• To update PTDB, Lesson learnt and horizontal deployment implementation and tracking
• Manage self-assessment audits as customer-specific CSR
• Perform quality reviews for compliance with customer requirements, Score card analysis, and action plan.
• Communicate Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) programs effectively

Our requirements:

• Graduate from Electrical / Mechanical Engineering with 8-10 Years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Customer Quality Requirements
• OEM / Tier 1 Customer requirements understanding / Handling OEM: MSIL / TATA/ Renault / Mahindra / Hella / Inteva / Mahle / Lumax / Minda / Hanon system / KIAL / Krishna maruti)
• Knowledge of IATF 1649 / VDA 6.3 / OEM QMS Requirements
• Should have worked in Auto Assy. Units
• Knowledge on automotive motors or related motion system
• Working Knowledge in PPAP, DOE, SPC, 7QC Tools, Control Chart, MSA
• Knowledge of measuring instruments, 8D methodology,
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools.
