Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:

Assisting in the implementation of standardized work instructions and other Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement projects.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Work in compliance with Johnson Electric Production Systems
  • Ensuring the adherence to ISO 45001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, ISO 9001 all Johnson Electric policies and any other industry standards in all activities
  • Interaction with production operators, technicians and other key resources to assist with the documentation, standardization and improvement of processes
  • Assist and create mechanical drawings using Auto Cad, Solidworks etc.
  • Create and Update work instructions, Tooling documents etc
  • Create and Update our PM system
  • Work in our tool room on tooling set up
  • Place tools in our tooling Matrix system
  • Conduct PM's on fixtures
  • Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives
  • Perform other related duties as required
  • Work on and maintain plant layout

What We're Looking For:

  • Perform other related duties as required
  • Working toward a technical degree or diploma
  • Experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment is an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Independent and self-motivated worker
  • Hands on experience is a PLUS, this is a hands on role
  • Committed to meeting deadline requirements
  • Willing and able to multi-task and change priorities based on organizational needs
  • Strong ability to use Microsoft Office Software
  • Strong Auto Cad or Solidworks experience
  • Can Do" attitude
  • Willingness to be involved in hands on projects in the plant
  • Able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, at all levels of the organization
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
