Global Marine, Offshore und Service, a division of Johnson Controls, develops, produces, and distributes complete HVAC/R and control systems for marine and coastal applications and is one of the largest suppliers in this industry worldwide.

Your Tasks:

• Commissioning, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration systems
• Reading electrical circuit and function diagrams
• Programming operation within simple process operations
• Operating PLC and ISN programs
• Soldering refrigeration piping

How you will approach your tasks: With an independent working style, you will work on ships of the marine and commercial offshore platforms. You will independently carry out repair and maintenance work on refrigeration systems. Furthermore, you will commission York refrigeration systems over 150kW and are responsible for the elimination of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration technical malfunctions.

Your Qualifications:

• Training as a refrigeration technician, mechatronics refrigeration technician, electrician, or alternatively, a similar qualification, such as automotive mechatronics
• Fluent German and English language skills are advantageous
• Several years of professional experience and basic knowledge in refrigeration technology and control technology in ship air conditioning are desirable but not required
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
