Service Manager Industrial Refrigeration And Hkl

As part of the Swiss management team for the Industrial Refrigeration and HKL business area, you will shape and influence the strategic direction and operational excellence of our service organization. You will take responsibility for the service business, lead a committed team, increase customer satisfaction, and promote the profitable growth of our service activities in Switzerland.

Your main tasks:

• Overall responsibility for the service business in the area of Industrial Refrigeration and HKL, including service sales, operations, and P&L control
• Development and implementation of growth strategies to expand the service portfolio and customer base
• Leadership and development of the service team (technicians, sales engineers, coordinators, team leaders), including resource planning, training, and motivation
• Ensuring efficient and high-quality execution of maintenance, repair, and emergency service operations
• Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships and providing proactive consulting to ensure the highest customer satisfaction
• Identifying cross- and upselling opportunities, creating offers, and supporting contract renewals
• Close collaboration with sales and project teams to identify service potentials and support customer inquiries
• Promoting a culture of continuous improvement, technical excellence, and customer orientation
• Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards

Your profile:

• Several years of experience in a leadership role in the technical service sector for industrial refrigeration or HKL, ideally with P&L responsibility
• Completed technical education or degree (e.g., building technology, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering) or a business background with a technical affinity
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is a clear advantage
• Entrepreneurial thinking and strategic decision-making ability
• Experience in leading and developing teams with a focus on employee engagement and performance
• Strong customer orientation, as well as communication and negotiation skills
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style with a focus on efficiency and optimization
• Very good German language skills in speech and writing; English and French are advantageous
