Service Engineer Position In Oslo

At Johnson Controls, you will become part of a global company that creates smart, energy-efficient systems for the industrial segment.

Your role as a service engineer will be a central part of our service team, with responsibility for ensuring that our customers' building automation systems function optimally. In addition to tasks in project planning, programming, and commissioning, you will have a key role in service work such as troubleshooting, correction, upgrades, improvements, and consulting. You will also contribute to sales by identifying and proposing solutions that meet the customers' needs. The work involves close cooperation with technical fields such as electrical and ventilation. You will work closely with our service team and coordinate with other technical fields, such as electrical and ventilation.

Work duties include:

  • Troubleshooting, correcting, and maintaining building automation and SD systems.
  • Carrying out upgrades and improvements to existing systems.
  • Working in the service team with regular customers and smaller to medium-sized projects.
  • Planning, programming, and commissioning of building automation and SD systems, both new and existing systems.
  • Coordination between technical fields such as electrical and ventilation.
  • System follow-up and administration.

Who are you?

  • We are looking for someone who has:
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in building automation.
  • Technical education in automation or electrical GR L.
  • High IT competence, and ability to quickly adapt to technological solutions.
  • Structured, independent, and customer-oriented approach.
  • Good communication in Norwegian and English, both written and verbal.
  • Driver's license class B.
