We are currently looking for a Construction Project Service Administrator to join our team in Montreal, QC.
Responsibilities
- Work jointly with the construction project coordinator (fire alarm and suppression) to establish material deliveries and confirm work schedules, including labor assignment
- Work jointly with the Service Supervisor (sprinkler), enter project orders into the Planner, create purchase orders, establish material deliveries, and confirm work schedules, including the assignment of work from the fire protection mechanics team.
- Responsible for the official documents required before and after projects, as needed according to the order.
- Responsible for tracking, managing, and controlling (receiving) purchase orders.
- Responsible for maintaining all service notices, manual or computerized to maximize billing.
- Administrative support for the ACE system and the principal project coordinator to follow up and report the status of projects to the administrative staff between the construction and service departments.
- Identify, track, and expedite construction materials on the sites
- Keep staff training up to date on platforms such as Cognibox
- Responsible for receiving ULC verification reports, verifying them for sending to clients
- Hold meetings regarding work progress as needed with the construction department and the service for sprinkler projects
- Complete safety documents on the site, with support from service managers
- Perform other tasks as requested
Qualifications
- Two years or more experience as a construction coordinator
- Experience in workforce planning, project, and material
- Bilingual, English, French, both spoken and written
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and skill with online systems
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written with internal and external clients
- Ready to work in a fast-evolving client-oriented environment
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills, and conflict and problem resolution
- Candidates must successfully pass an employment background check
Hourly hiring scale: $27.50 - $36.05 (The hourly rate will be determined based on the candidate's training, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, internal equity, workplace, and compliance with market data.)
