Primary responsibility for this role is to provide costing support to the Sales Manager for the tenders being quoted for Chillers, HVAC and Fire systems. Major role is to review SOTR's, tender documents, Bill of Material, Material specifications, drawing and obtain competitive quotes from Vendors and Manufacturers. He will also participate in Pre-Bid and Technical discussions with the Customer, Indian Navy and Shipyards during tendering stage and post winning the Project.

The Proposal Engineer will also maintain and update the Costing for various equipment and sub-assemblies for Fire, HVAC and Chillers so that the costs available at short notices are competitive taking in to consideration the inflation and material cost variations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated Proposal Engineer for management of project on prestigious ships. • Estimating during the sales stage with sales manager and upkeep of estimation cell. Review quarterly the cost variations and capture the same. • Preparation of Technical & Commercial Compliance matrix for Fire systems, Chillers and HVAC from Indian Navy & Coast Guard • Review of drawings as per approved design and QAP. • Review of specification of material as per approved design and customer requirements. • Progress reporting to JC management • Cost information summary – preparing, monitoring and tracking in SAP • Ensuring EHS compliance for JC team and associated.

Hand on experience of drawings · Experience for fabrication, assembly and testing of Fire Systems, CO2, MFFS, Foam and High Pressure water mist systems. · Quality management · Proficiency in using computer –MS office / email etc. • Good knowledge of SAP- PM module • The candidate should be very enthusiastic, self-motivated and a fast learner. • Should have worked and have 4-5 Years experience on sales or Proposal field

BE in Mechanical Engineering / Diploma with adequate experience on Marine systems.

Strong detail-orientation with demonstrated analysis and follow-through skills

Working experience in Direct sales field of HVAC, Chillers and Fire Systems
